Join us for our 5th annual event, Family Fun at Horicon Marsh. On Saturday, July 8th from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., families are invited to spend the day at the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center, located between the towns of Horicon and Mayville on Highway 28.
New and favorite activities will include hands-on archery, access to the Horicon Marsh Explorium, wildlife walks, dip netting, a marsh scavenger hunt and challenge, face painting, new crafts and more. Make an edible craft while learning about the Blue Zones Project of Dodge County. Families are welcome to pack a picnic and have lunch at the marsh. Hot dogs, chips, baked goods and water will be available for purchase from the Friends of the Horicon Marsh.
This free family event will be held rain or shine and includes both indoor and outdoor activities.
Family Fun at Horicon Marsh is made possible by the collaborative effort of the Monarch Library System; public libraries of Dodge, Ozaukee, Sheboygan and Washington Counties; Wisconsin DNR and Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center.
