holiday craft extravaganza

Decorate our tree and celebrate the holidays with us. We’ll have many book-inspired craft stations for kids (and adults) to make cool gifts to give away. This will be our 1st Annual Holiday Craft Extravaganza–make it a holiday tradition in your family!

You can drop in for a little while, or stay for the entire 3 hours.

medialab: music remixing workshop

make music even if you can’t play an instrument or sing. Learn how to sample your favorite songs and make noises using a computer, and mix them into entirely new songs.

Captain’Verse (otherwise known as Aaron Friedrich) will show you how to make sick tunes using the library’s medialab.

The Wisconsin Kiter’s Club will show you how to fly a kite brilliantly, after you create and decorate your own kite. Free, for all ages. Come to the track field by the Lomira school to feel the wind in your hands.

hat knitting class

Whether you’re a beginning knitter or a master, this free class is for you. Starting Thursday, March 15 at 6:30 pm, this class continues every Thursday for four weeks. We’ll have two different hat patterns for you to choose from, depending on your skill level.  This class is limited to 12 participants.
