History’s Mysteries: Student Edition! @ Lomira QuadGraphics Community Library

This year’s event will feature a main puzzle for prize money open to entrants 18 years old or younger.  Audience puzzles for raffle ticket prizes will be open to all ages.  Once again, the focus of the contest is Lomira history.  Only main puzzle teams are required to register in advance.

Complete information will be available March 1.

Baby Storytimes @ Lomira QuadGraphics Community Library

Baby Storytime includes short books, songs, bounce rhymes and lots of fun for babies up to 18 months and their caregivers.

The first part of the program is full of early literacy activities, and the second part is social/playtime with toys and more. This is a wonderful opportunity during the winter months to get out with baby.

No registration required. This is a free program!

Join us for stories, songs, rhymes, and activities in this traditional storytime that will help prepare your child for reading success! (Recommended for walkers and talkers ages 5 and under)

Free Chair Yoga at the Library with Kristi Haak, RYT @ Lomira QuadGraphics Community Library

What is Chair Yoga?
· the opportunity to try something new
· move out of your comfort zone
· learn how to practice yoga while sitting in a chair
· be out in the community
· give yourself some love and self-care
· breathe and be in your body
· relax and be aware of sensations and thoughts
· find balance mentally, emotionally, physically
· restore and rejuvenate your soul essence
· enjoy the moment and feel good

What do you need to participate?
· a towel is optional in case you need to wipe your brow
· comfortable loose fitting clothing
· willingness to be open to what presents itself

What might the sessions include?
· breath-work, meditation, affirmations
· poses for posture, flexibility, balance, strength
· peace, tranquility, awareness, discovery, insight
