Teen Advisory Board (TAB) Meeting @ Lomira Quad/Graphics Community Library

Our new Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a group that advises our library staff and board on how to make our library a more teen-friendly place by suggesting programs, events, books and more!

If you’re in the 7th-12th grades and interested in getting more involved in the library and your community please join us!

Of course, snacks will be provided 🙂

Free Chair Yoga at the Library with Kristi Haak, RYT @ Lomira QuadGraphics Community Library

What is Chair Yoga?
· the opportunity to try something new
· move out of your comfort zone
· learn how to practice yoga while sitting in a chair
· be out in the community
· give yourself some love and self-care
· breathe and be in your body
· relax and be aware of sensations and thoughts
· find balance mentally, emotionally, physically
· restore and rejuvenate your soul essence
· enjoy the moment and feel good

What do you need to participate?
· a towel is optional in case you need to wipe your brow
· comfortable loose fitting clothing
· willingness to be open to what presents itself

What might the sessions include?
· breath-work, meditation, affirmations
· poses for posture, flexibility, balance, strength
· peace, tranquility, awareness, discovery, insight

LEGO Club

If you’re a great Lego builder, or a first timer, this is the club for you!

Open to anyone interested, there is no need to sign up. This will give children the opportunity to get creative and build anything they choose with LOTS of Legos. They can either work on their own creations, or build as a team.

The library will provide the Legos, while the kids provide the imagination! Open to all ages but children under 9 must be accompanied by an adult or older sibling.
