We offer one-to-one help and skill-building sessions by appointment. This free service is for questions that require time beyond the general assistance and for more in-depth instruction on how to use the library’s catalog, databases, digital resources, and the Internet.

Typical Book-a-Librarian sessions last from 30 minutes to an hour and may include:

  • Download eBooks,  eAudiobooks, and eMagazines
  • Research a topic using the library’s online databases
  • Basic computer skills
  • Setting up and using an email account
  • Internet basics, browsers, social media
  • Introduction to the library catalog – how to find a book, a CD or a DVD, place holds, set up and manage your account

We are unable to  install software or troubleshoot your personal devices. Also, we cannot offer medical, legal, tax, financial, business or personal advice.

Crazy 8’s Math Club!

Crazy 8’s is a recreational after-school math club that helps kids enjoy the math behind their favorite activities! Crazy 8’s is for kids of ALL math abilities.

This session is for Grades 3-5. Registration is required. Club meets 8 weeks in a row.

R.E.A.D. with a Therapy Dog @ Lomira Quad/Graphics Community Library

Geared for grades K – 5th.  Practice reading with a therapy dog!  Great for new and struggling readers.  Bring your own book or pick one from our selections! Please register in advance for your 10-15 minute timeslot by calling the library.
