Family Frontier Day @ Pioneer Village

Join Monarch libraries for a day at Pioneer Village in Saukville! This fun-filled event, held rain or shine, is FREE and for all ages.

Family Frontier Day @ Pioneer Village offers many indoor and outdoor activities such as period craft demonstrations, exploring buildings dating from the 1840s, pioneer games, storytime, and a scavenger hunt.

Located at: Ozaukee County Pioneer Village 4880 Cty Rd I (Saukville, WI 53080). Lunch will be available for purchase from the Ozaukee County Historical Society. Menu includes a hot dog, soda or water, and a cookie for $5.00.

LEGO Club @ Lomira QuadGraphics Community Library
Oct 22 @ 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm

Work together and show off your creativity with LEGOs! Children ages 4 and up are welcome to attend this drop-in monthly event.

Each monthly session will feature a different challenge:
September 24 : Build a Model of Your Room
October 22: Build something to go with your favorite book
November 26: Build a Pyramid
December 17: Build a bridge that can hold something heavy

Creations will go on display in the Children’s area after each session. Bring a friend, no registration required!

Ask A Farmer! With the Dodge County Dairy Ambassador @ Lomira Quad/Graphics Community Library

Do cows have boogers? Where does milk come from? What do cows eat?  What are GMO’s?  What’s the difference between Organic & Conventional? Come and get all your farming questions answered!

Programs presented by Brenda Conley: Dodge County Dairy Ambassador.

Kids program from 5:30 to 6:00pm & Adult program from 6:10-6:40pm. All programs are FREE!

Crazy 8’s Math Club @ Lomira QuadGraphics Community Library

Join Crazy 8’s Math Club, where you’ll build stuff, run and jump, make music, make a mess…it’s a totally new kind of math club! You’ll get to do mischief-making activities like Glow-in-the-Dark Geometry, Bouncy Dice and Toilet Paper Olympics, and you’ll get to take home some cool gadgets, too!

This is open to those going into grades K-2 in the Fall and space is limited to 12 students for the 8 week program.

Cards will be forwarded to a non-profit organization that supports the military who will then send them out. For more information visit: http://amillionthanks.org. These are generic cards and letters and they are meant for anyone, not a specific person.

No registration required and all ages are invited to this month-long event!
